DH ARCHITECTURE

The Royal Palm Hotel is a 5+ star Hotel, member of the prestigious Leading Hotels of the World, based in Grand-Baie Mauritius.  DH Architecture was awarded the contract for the complete refurbishment of the Hotel which was successfully completed in 2014.

The main brief was to preserve the soul & essence of this iconic Hotel which has been present for more than 30 years and at the same time bring a new & contemporary feel to it.  

A 30 metre long Reflective Horizon Pool was designed to capture the full essence of the magnificent lagoon view.

The contemporary Architecture of the Hotel blends with the natural landscaping that surrounds it with an extensive use of natural materials such as straw, timber, basalt & stones.
